Investigative Division

Centennial Lakes Police Department's Investigations Division consists of one Detective in charge of in depth investigation of cases.  The Investigations Division's duties include taking statements, developing leads, conducting detailed follow up, and preparing charges for each case investigated.  From time to time, patrol officers and sergeants investigate or are directed to complete tasks/special assignments of an investigative nature for their own case(s).

Other duties the Investigations Division complete include reviewing permits to purchase firearms, conduct employment background investigations, and oversee the department's seizures/forfeitures.
