Domestic Abuse
Domestic Abuse
As we all know, every relationship is different. With that being said, domestic abuse and violence also looks different for each relationship. Domestic abuse can happen to couples who are married, live together, are dating, or have a child in common. Abuse can be physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person. This includes any behaviors that frighten, intimidate, terrorize, manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure or wound someone.
The Centennial Lakes Police Department investigates all claims of alleged domestic abuse.
