Part-Time Community Service Officer

 

 

The Centennial Lakes Police Department currently has one opening available for a part-time Community Service Officer.  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Must have a high school degree, and a valid MN driver's license.  Enrollment in a college level criminal justice or law enforcement related program is preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving and decision-making skills are necessary.  Please download the application found on the bottom of this page.  The completed application must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026.  Applications may be submitted in person, mailed, or emailed to mail@clpdmn.com.  
 

Department Overview

 

The Centennial Lakes Police Department serves the communities of Centerville, Circle Pines, and Lexington.  All cities served are located in Anoka County, Minnesota.  The Department is overseen by a Joint Police Governing Board, consisting of two elected officials from each city.  

 

The Department is authorized to employ sixteen (16) full time sworn officers and (1) part-time sworn officer including the Chief, a Captain, Administrative Sergeant, two (2) Patrol Sergeants and a Detective.   Civilian staff includes up to (4) part-time Community Service Officers, a full time Officer Supervisor, and a full time and part time Records Technicians.  The Department also has a Reserve Officer Unit.  Currently, there is one part-time Community Service Officer position available.
