Thank you for being a fan of the official Centennial Lakes Police Department Facebook and Instagram pages.  The purpose of these pages is to permit authorized employees of the Centennial Lakes Police Department to provide the public with information concerning public safety, news, events, activities, stories, photographs, and videos, and to disseminate other information and material intended to increase public awareness of the Centennial Lakes Police Department activities.

Neither the Facebook nor Instagram pages are appropriate forums to use to report any crime. If you have an emergency, please call 911. If you wish to report other non-emergencies, 911 is still the best means-and should be your first choice-to report such incidents including crimes. You may also reach the Centennial Lakes Police Department via Anoka County Central Communications at 763-427-1212. Please do not use these pages to report crimes, suspicious activities or any time sensitive information.

The Centennial Lakes Police Department’s Facebook and Instagram pages are available and open to the public for viewing and participation. However, they are purposefully controlled online sites established for a limited purpose. All postings and comments are, in addition to the terms and conditions established by Facebook, subject to the following terms and conditions established by the Centennial Lakes Police Department:

  • Robo-spam and comments posted by automatic software programs (known as “bots”) will be removed if necessary to ensure access for the general public.

The Facebook and Instagram pages and their content are managed by the Centennial Lakes Police Department. All comments posted to these pages are subject to monitoring and review by the Centennial Lakes Police Department. The Centennial Lakes Police Department reserves the right to remove or prohibit postings with the content described above.

The Facebook and Instagram pages are not monitored 24/7. The Centennial Lakes Police Department will review the sites and comments on a regular basis.

The Centennial Lakes Police Department is not responsible for, and neither endorses nor opposes, comments posted on the Facebook and Instagram pages by visitors to them. Commenters are personally responsible for their own comments, username, or any information they place on the pages.

Please note that comments expressed on the Centennial Lakes Police Department’s Facebook and Instagram pages by the public do not reflect the opinions or positions of the police department and its employees and volunteers, the cities of Centerville, Circle Pines and Lexington, their employees or elected officials, and the Centennial Lakes Police Department Joint Governing Board, and its members.
